So! It?�?s June 17^th! The day I said I?�?d be back from my writing break, ready to start posting weekly Family Man pages again.

I won?�?t waste space: no, the comic isn?�?t back yet. Taking a month off updates to focus on scriptwriting has been simultaneously fruitful (progress!) and frustrating (things I still need to work out!).?? The point of the break was to firm up enough story details that I felt comfortable plowing ahead with new art.

I?�?m not there yet.

No, this isn?�?t a dreaded ?�?hiatus?�?; I?�?m not taking a vacation, or stepping away from the story, or landing a fancier dayjob. This is my primary project and I want to give it the attention it deserves. My goal has always been to produce a self-contained novel, rather than a weekly free-content web serial. So: I?�?m going to deliver you a lovely novel. And you will see new pages from it when I know that they?�?re the right pages, not just the pages I can put up by Friday.

New pages will return September 21^st.??If I need more time, I’ll take it, but I’ll be sure to update you on my progress along the way.??I really miss the little weekly lift of hearing from you all about a new page, and I very much look forward to seeing you all again soon.
